This 2-day UAV specific ground school will ensure that all students gain a thorough understanding of the aeronautical knowledge required to meet the current and future standards laid out by Transport Canada for the Small UAV Systems VLOS restricted pilot permit. Topics include: air law and procedures, navigation and radio aids, meteorology, airframes and engines, theory of flight, flight instruments, flight operations, human factors and radiotelephony. Students who successfully complete the course examinations will be issued a certificate as well as an Industry Canada Restricted Operator – Aeronautical (ROC-A) radio licence.
This scenario based training will prepare your agency for search and rescue, containment and traffic accident investigations. The training will be custom designed to meet your needs and instruction delivered by industry experts. In addition to flying your students will be introduced to Pix4D which will allow them to produce imagery ready for investigation and court.
